Austria SUSPENDS mandatory covid vaccination
It’s happening, after just a few weeks, the European country is dropping the mandatory requirement.
Since the Austrian government announced they would be requiring all adults to be vaccinated, there has been regular protests across the country. Tens of thousands of Austrians have taken to the streets protesting for freedom, largely being ignored by the media.
In a shocking move, the Austrian government decided to require all adults to be vaccinated against covid, whether they wanted to or not. No longer making it a free choice for people to decide for themselves, no, the big brother government had to step in and decide what the people should do with their bodies.
Austria is the only country in Europe to mandate vaccination for ALL adults, with some other countries mandating it for some age groups only.
People who refused to get vaccinated were threatened with fines up to €3,600. Imagine that. People getting fined because of their medical status.
Police were going to check peoples papers…
From the middle of March, police were going to be checking peoples papers to see their medical status. Those not being able to prove their vaccination status then risking the fines.
Imagine just saying that two years ago. Police checking peoples papers and fining them if they don’t have the approved medical status. This was unthinkable, but it was about to happen.
The law was approved in parliament with every party supporting it except the righ-wing FPÖ party that were opposed to it because they thought the law violated peoples freedom. And naturally this party was called ”far-right” by the media...
It has gone only a few weeks since the law took effect (but enforcement has not yet happened), and now all of a sudden they are doing a u-turn and announcing that they are suspending the mandatory vaccination.
Minister Karoline Edtstadler said that the ”encroachment of fundamental rights” that the law did could not be justified any longer.
"We see no need to actually implement this compulsory vaccination due to the (Omicron) variant that we are predominantly experiencing here."
This comes as other countries, like Sweden, Denmark and Norway have removed all/most restrictions, and other countries like Germany and France are scheduled to drop many restrictions as well.
It is not all good news for freedom however, as the law is only temporarily suspended. The legal framework is being kept in place in case another variant comes in the future.
The Austrian Health Minister is saying that they will review the law again in three months time.
What will happen then, we do not know. But for the time being we are seeing freedom coming back to Europe in country after country.

As long as these tyrannical governments see a way forward that ends in greater power, they do not care how it’s obtained. Mandates, human rights abuses, nihilism, you name it. I will not be dropping my guard in the future and I don’t believe anyone else should believe it’s over either. Remember it’s consistently an external force fault and always for the better good.
Where I live in British Columbia, Canada, the vaccine mandate stays in place until April 8 for reasons no one can figure out. I'm actually skeptical they'll ever lift the requirement.
