But I think we were all surprised by how enthusiastically so many embraced the vax passes and, presumably, would be very supportive of digital cash. The vax pass uptake (at least where I live) showed how little resistance there will be.

In Scandinavia digital ID is already widespread in use. Here I must have one in order to do online banking and buy things online. And many other things. Perhaps I should do an article about it in the future!
Yes please! Two years ago, I wouldn't have been very concerned about digital ID. But the vaccine passports have woken me up to what's at stake. I'd really appreciate hearing your experience with digital ID.
