China using covid passports to stop protests
Nothing like this could ever happen here, right?
I am old enough to remember when they said that covid passports was a crazy conspiracy theory. This was only a few years ago at the beginning of covid.
Then not long thereafter, we got covid passports. People all over Europe were banned from many public places if they didn't have their papers in order. Some even banned from work.
You had to scan a QR code on your phone to show that you had a "green" status. Those who refused, were unable to travel in several countries and go to restaurants etc.
Now let's have a look at what is happening in China. There, they also have a covid passport app on their phones. Wait, what? An authoritarian country like China has that too? What a surprise!
But here is where it gets interesting. People who were planning a protest in China are reporting that their covid passport status suddenly turned red, preventing them from travelling and taking part in the protests.
The people were angry because they say they had been swindled out of billions of dollars and they were heading out to protest.
In China, the covid passport has several stages. Those with a red status are banned from entering public places and public transport. Those with green status are allowed and people are required to scan codes every time they visit a public place so that they can be tracked (does this remind you of something we've had in Europe...?)
When the protesters had left their hometowns, their code was green. But when they arrived in the city where the protest was being held, their covid passport had suddenly turned red and some were told by police to return home.
So essentially what we are seeing here, is that Communist China is using the covid passport system as a way to control their citizens. Who could have seen this coming?
The bigger question is, will this be coming to Europe and the West too? We already have the covid passports and QR codes and tracking. We saw massive protests in Europe against this, with millions taking to the streets every weekend for over 6 months in a row. Of course the mainstream media almost completely ignored it. But I did report on it extensively.
The thing they are doing in China, would probably be a very lucrative way to stop protests in Europe too.
That is why we must say no to authoritarianism and a control society. We are heading towards more and more control. In Norway and Sweden we already have digital ID, you can read more about how that works in my previous article here.
I also revealed in another Substack article just a few weeks ago how the Norwegian state wants to track all the food purchases of citizens. What will they do with that data? Can we trust that the things happening in China will not also happen here?
Sure, they are saying that this won't happen. But they also said covid passports wouldn't happen either, so take that for what you will.
What we must do, is make sure that there never is an opportunity to do what they are doing in China. We cannot give the state that kind of power.
After all, that is what democracy and freedom is all about. The people having the freedom to live without the state managing every small detail of their lives. To live free.
Where there is power, there is always the temptation for corruption and the risk of power being abused is high. We see it all the time.
The Great Reset is all part of this. They want more power and control. Cashless society. Digital ID. They want you to own nothing and they own everything.
Just imagine in a few years. You are stopping by the grocery store to buy some food for dinner. You grab some delicious steak and head to the checkout. When you go to do your cashless payment, you get a message saying you are exceeding you C02 limit. You have to go back and grab a pack of cricket crisps. You head for your electric car, but you have been banned from driving for the week because of an offensive social media post.
This is the kind of future that could happen if they have that kind of power. People are already getting jailed in Europe for posting offensive memes online.
They don't want free speech because they are Communists. They want total control. The Great Reset is just another word for Global Communism. China is just a little bit ahead of us.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
This has never been truer than now.
This is not new. We’ve been aware and afraid of this for two years now. What we need are solutions. And fast. The only way I can think of that doesn’t involve storming the Bastille is just to simply opt out of smart devices. If enough people refuse to play they cannot enforce it, can they? They can’t limit my movements based on a digital identity that I don’t have.
