The more governments engage in unpopular behavior , inevitably the more they will attempt to consolidate their power by muzzling their critics. Covid injections and related restrictions , immigration policy, medical care for usually confused trans children , and climate agendas seem to be the primary areas in which they know that their propaganda will be rejected unless groupthink is enforced. In all of these areas the policies of the entitled elite reject common sense.

I pray that the citizenry of Europe can band together and stop this now.

Hi Julin. I agree, citizens must band together now before it's too late. Being afraid to speak up just sets you back. It will only get worse and there goes your freedom of speech forever once the government gets its way.

Governments want us to follow what they say for us like obedient sheep. When I was on two school boards, the (PSBA) Pennsylvania School Board Assocation was trying to get the Code of Conduct passed in all the schools in Pa. The Code of conduct if passed would keep board members quiet. We wouldn't be able to tell taxpayers what was going on behind closed doors or talk to reporters. Well, that's just what I was doing, exposing the truth to taxpayers and to reporters what board member and administrators were doing to them behind closed doors. I put them on a roller coaster ride. At that time when I was on the school board the Code of Conduct wasn't passed. When I got off the school board a board member who agreed with me 100% said, this Code of Conduct can never pass. Well, this traitor and 8 other board members ended up voting for it and it was passed. Taxpayers don't hear anything anymore since I got off the school board. Why the heck would anyone vote for something that takes away your First Amendment rights and where is your loyalty to taxpayers that you're representing? Taxpayers are paying the bills, and they have a right to know how school board members spend & waste their tax dollars. During my term on both school boards, I was shot at twice. My car was damaged. The town sheriff and lawyers were sicced on me, but they ended up on my side thanks to the Constitution. I was called every disgusting name you can think of. Over a hundred virus was sent to my computer. I was attacked by people in the paper almost every day and they didn't have the guts to put their name to their words. I fought hard for taxpayers! Some did appreciate what I tried to do but others always had a knife in my back. I was just like Trump for taxpayers and hated like Trump. I live in a small town run by the good old boys where everybody is related and all they care about is sports! I'm not related to anyone. Traitors here tried to stop free speech here just like they're doing in Europe.

The erosion of free speech rights, courtesy of the Red/Green Alliance, in a number of European countries is a distressing development. Fortunately, in Free-Speech America this cannot happen (so far). See: https://allenz1.substack.com/p/freedom-of-speech-is-our-last-best

This is certainly changing views of exactly what it means to be European. it is a shame that the place where small-l liberalism was created, and where two wars were fought to maintain individual rights, has become so sclerotic that its leadership sees the only way forward to be if they remain in power, and like every autocrat, they will ruthlessly attack those who stand in their way
