This is just one sign of the apostasy of many (if not most) churches and denominations in the "Western" world. It can be discouraging to observe. Those places which were once beacons of light following the reform have extinguished themselves and Jesus has removed their lampstand.

This is just one sign of the apostasy of many (if not most) churches and denominations in the "Western" world. It can be discouraging to observe. Those places which were once beacons of light following the reform have extinguished themselves and Jesus has removed their lampstand.
The culture and justice systems that were built on biblical statutes and Christian values are crumbling like a house built on sand (Matthew 7:26-27) because the people (including many in the church) have rejected God and his Word (Hosea 4:6).
The question is : what should be the reaction of the true believer ? Firstly we need to remember that Christ reigns from heaven and he will reign at the right hand of the Father until all his enemies have been put under his feet (Psalm 110). Also, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus, therefore we need to go, and announce his Gospel to the world (Matthew 28:18-20).
Since 2020, it has become clear that in most "democratic" countries, the government is no longer acting in the interest of those who have elected them. Many ordinary people are feeling the injustice, and are also becoming fed up of the woke and LGBT culture being shoved down their and their children's throats. My prayer is that in the face of the huge injustices of this world, many will repent and turn to the Righteous Judge thus bringing forth a Christian renewal.
