I had a thought. Every daughter that was raped, fathers need to get together and fight for their girls. You need to be an Army of fighters. Let your government see they can't mess with you anymore. It's almost like the Sweden government is having war with their natives and not the enemy. Sweden citizens, stop being afraid, before it gets worse. Your girls can't live in fear all the time. Imagine what rape does to a girl. Rape stays locked in the girl's mind giving her no peace. Girls will have issues that will set them back and last forever. Some will choose suicide. I read a sad story about a 12-yr old girl who was forced to do oral sex. She committed suicide.

Spot on, Evy!! The old adage, 'give 'em an inch and they'll take a mile' absolutely applies here and in every country that is slapping these criminals on the wrist. I just hope for the good citizens of Sweden that they CAN pull their government back from breach.

Thank you, Julin. I also hope for Sweden, especially for the females. It's horrible to live in fear. I pray Sweden leaders will do the right thing. They should know that rape could happen to someone they love. I appreciate you, Julin.

3 different members of my family sexually assaulted me before I was 17yo. The first was when I was 4yo! I've had trust issues my entire life. When I meet someone, I don't extend a friendly demeanor until I've known them for years. I cannot bear to be touched, even with a handshake, by people I don't know. It's difficult to make friends and if my husband hadn't been so insistent I was who he wanted to get to know and patient in the fact I wouldn't meet him alone for the first year we dated, I'd probably be a childless cat lady (well, no, I'm more of a dog person, but you get my point). When we were dating, we didn't even kiss for the first year and a half. I'm as shocked as you are we've been married for 31 years.

I told you that very private part of my life to tell you that the rape culture in Sweden is going to cause women long-term damage, even if Sweden suddenly starts deporting Muslims tomorrow by the thousands and sends every one of them back to their point of origin. Young women on the verge of sexual awakening deal with rape in two very different ways. They either withdraw from sex entirely or they throw themselves into multiple sex partners and constant seeking of more exciting sex to make them feel as if they're not broken or undesirable. Both are a response to hating yourself for "allowing yourself to be put in the situation where you were raped." Even knowing you did nothing wrong logically doesn't stop the self-loathing. It's not a logical thought process. It's an emotional one the woman has very little control over. It's damaging in ways I can't even begin to explain to you. If you haven't experienced it, you cannot imagine the sewage your mind becomes and the attacks your own thought processes wage against you. Whether you're awake or asleep doesn't matter. Your mind is a torture chamber you cannot escape and that's why so many women kill themselves. It's not the rape itself that drives you to suicide. It's the endless churning of your mind that takes you there. You cannot run from it, hide from it or "get through it."

Rededicating my life to Christ and seeing a rape counselor three times a week for 5 years didn't fix the issue, but it did make me strong enough to learn to live with it. I cannot stress enough that giving a rape victim platitudes will not help them and might actively throw them into a panic attack meltdown. Sit with them quietly. Let them dictate conversations if they want to talk and most importantly, Sweden must make the female population feel safe. That means punishing their attackers to the fullest extent of the law. It means flooding the streets with beat cops who can protect women walking alone. It means deportations. It means unstinting mental health services. Sweden must either protect its women and girls or repeal gun control and let women protect themselves.

Leslie, I can relate to just about everything you said. Oh Leslie, getting raped is a hard pill to swallow. Time does heal to a certain extent, but you still live with the pain. When I was 19 and 6 months pregnant, I was raped. I also rededicating my life to Christ. To this day I have a real hard time hugging people, especially men. I get made fun of by some people who have no idea. Leslie, so sorry to know you had to deal with being raped. Rape victims feel for other rape victims, because we know what it's like. Thank you to everyone who gave me and Leslie thumbs up. Especially Julin. I just love her! Let's all pray for our sisters in Sweden and also pray that their ignorant, heartless leaders grow a brain to do right by their female citizens.

Amen! If our countries are incapable of providing the basics of safety through justice, we'll simply lean on one another and encourage each other to defend ourselves. If we can't count on justice, we have the strength to learn new ways and practicing old ways of self-defense. If we defend ourselves with extreme enough prejudice, our gov't won't have to tax us for his trial and his rights. He can negotiate those with God Himself.

God said to love and pray for our enemies, but He sent the Israelites out to war and strengthened David for his battle with Goliath. Jesus spoke about turning the other cheek, but He also became enraged with the money changers in God's Temple and physically attacked them and threw them out. We aren't required by God to meekly stand by while someone murders our heart, mind or soul. Be brave and seek the Lord. 🙏

That is sooooo disturbing and disheartening. The 'ppl in authority' have a lack of compassion & intelligence. They are committing the rest of the girls' lives to pain and chaos. They are condoning, nay, encouraging, a rape free-for-all! 😳

I wonder how the 'ppl in authority' would feel if one of their sons or daughters were consigned to having the same 'short duration' of rape applied to them.

This is on purpose. Our politicians are not elected. Our elections are rigged. All of our countries are Venezuela now. The politicians and their appointed judges are arrogant and sneer at us. If they were truly beholden to the voters, they wouldn't get away with this -- they know they'd be voted out or removed from office and their careers in ruins. This will continue until voting integrity is addressed.

Sadly, I don't know if that will ever be achieved. One would think in this day & age that the difference between the 'elites' - as they like to be thought of - and the proletariat - as the 'elites like to think of them as' - be as immense as it is today. Those in authority will - most likely - never have to face the miseries of life that so much of their citizenry does. I'm just glad there is a higher Judge that will render His eternal ruling.

Would that get you a long prison sentence in Sweden? I think the natives are treated more callously than the illegals or legals as they all seem to get preferential treatment. So fucking sad. The Great Replacement is at hand. Swedes need to vote all the people on board with this out of office. The big question is, Will they?

Just like the UK.

Citizens (natives born in the UK) are treated much more harshly by the courts than immigrants

Why was my post removed Peter? Tell me the truth. As you can see, lots of people agreed with what I said. If my words were blunt, it needs to be blunt. Here we go, be silent and let the crimes continue. If I get knocked off again, I will no longer support your site. I will not renew my subscription.
