Don't hurt yourself patting yourself on the back too hard, Peter! ๐Ÿ˜‚ When I read that, I immediately realized it was true, but I still burst out laughing. Thanks for the chuckle, Peter. I really hope the rest of Norway's cows recover.

The things humans do to the livestock who feed us are terrible and I consider it one of the worst parts of humanity. God gave dominion over animals to man and that confers a responsibility for their care and treatment. American cattle aren't required to be treated with Bovaer, but many are and American bureaucrats in the USDA are saying the Norse ranchers are lying or confused because "American ranchers haven't lodged a single complaint." Something tells me there's more to that story.

We've done something a wee bit sensible here in NZ, reducing our "methane reduction" target under that crazy Paris Accord.

But what worries me is that our PM proudly announced "don't worry, Paris Accord believers", we have allocated $450M to a NZ firm that will solve the agricultural emissions problem with new science. There's no way for me to find out whether that will involve bovaer...

Yep, Leslie was right. The Norway government killed 2 cows, and it won't stop there. Governments in all countries think they know what is best but instead they give their citizens no rest. Too bad for the hard-working farmer and be glad you are not a cow - Mooooooooooo!
