It certainly seems to me that Dr Fauci and friends were getting around the US govt moratorium on gain of function research, and that itтАЩs very POSSIBLE, not definite, that a doctored virus escaped or was released from Wuhan in the fall of 2019 (Fauci and Company certainly appear to have panicked and tried to cover up SOMETHING).
I do believe that the DEFUSE proposal and the evidence compiled by DRASTIC, along with other publicly available sources seem to indicate that Fauci, Daszak, Baric, and the Chinese may well have been responsible. They were definitely playing with fire.
