I always wondered how in the world Germans became Nazi supporters. Now I understand.

Lol. Do 2 hours of research into Weimar Germany and you’ll see exactly why…

I understand the history. But, the German people, most, knew exactly what he Nazis were doing to humans and turned a blind eye. Economics had nothing to do with the massive human deaths. The German people were hypnotized just as the covidians are today. They refuse to look at any data that destroys their belief that the government is correct in their lunatic response. It's a massive group hypnosis. They bought the idea that certains groups of people were the problem. To gain control an enemy must be manufactured, just as the Russians are the bad guys today.

By the time most Germans knew what was happening it was too late to change anything (even if they could)..... especially in the middle of the war.

The Germans in the early 1930’s were in a bad position. They were confronted with 2 choices..... both of them bad. They could support either the Communists or the Nazis....that’s a hell of a choice to have to make.

I hope that we are never forced into a similar situation.

And there was the Resistance, people like us.

To be fair the commies killed far more people. Somehow it is acceptable to openly support communism these days, yet Nazism is not.

That’s what I always said. The commies were way worse.

Been said before, but the last few years read like a poorly written novel...... complete with Schwab as the perfect Bond villain, Gates as his Mini Me, the WEF as SPECTRE bent on world domination, a senile lefty President, Democrat collaborators in the White House and Congress, Fauci et al trying to inoculate the world with a poison vaccine.....I could go on, but you get the point. It would be funny if it weren’t so deadly serious.

Yeah. I don’t think the average German knew more about where Jews were going, anymore than the American citizenry knew where the Japanese were going when we rounded them up and put them on trains.

Oh, that’s right. America did the same shit.

Except for the systemic mass murder......

We were the good guys. Peoples rights weren’t always respected, but we didn’t do anything like the horrors perpetuated by the Nazis or Japanese. We aren’t ALWAYS the problem.

Bad shit happens in wars. That’s why they should be avoided.

I’m talking about the average persons perspective. I highly doubt the average Private First Class, or the baker, or the homeowner knew anything outside, “yeah, they get rounded up and put on trains.” Which we participated in. Lucky for us, there was t a secret extermination program at the end of those rail lines.

Likewise, there are so many things in history that I have questioned "how could that have come about". How does a new religion form? How did the Nazi's come to happen, with no push back? How was unethical medical experimentation allowed to happen?

It's become obvious over the last two and a half years. And it's truly saddening that those who complied so readily want to forget it ever happened rather than admit that it was wrong and seek to make sure that it never happens again.
